and 50 more rivers, all in the quiz.

River systems, not single rivers: each entry is a river together with the headstreams that make up its longest course (Mississippi–Missouri, Ob–Irtysh, Nelson–Saskatchewan, the Saint Lawrence with the Great Lakes chain above it), measured in km from the most distant source to the mouth, mostly as listed in Wikipedia's list of river systems by length; where good sources disagree (the list, the river's own article, Wikidata), the figure is one of theirs. A tributary system can be an entry of its own (Araguaia, Snake). The list is 110 systems: the 100 of the first edition and, since October 2026, the ten the rivers pool showed were longer than its tail (Brazos, Kura, Chari, Krishna, Parnaíba, Fraser, Kızılırmak, Liao, Narmada, Ottawa). Headstream systems already drawn as part of a listed river (the Mamoré within the Madeira, the Angara within the Yenisei) are not entries of their own. The map draws that longest course with the system's main headstreams.
